Toshiba unveils HD-EP10 HD DVD player

Toshiba have launched their third HD DVD player in the UK .
The HD-EP10 is a combination of the existing HD-E1 and HD-XE1 models and offers 1080p full HD output performance to the HD-E1s.
The player will retail for 699 Euros in Europe .
The new player will be able to playback all major formats like HD DVD, DVD, DVD-R, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW and CD formats.
The sound quality is second to none via the Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD and DTS HD formats.
Olivier Van Wynendaele, Deputy General Manager, HD DVD, Toshiba Information Systems(UK) Ltd said, "Toshibas HD-E1 and HD-XE1 set benchmarks in high definition home entertainment, both in terms of performance and value for money . The HD-EP10 raises the bar yet again. We want consumers to experience the highest HD resolution currently available at a price thats right for the market - and thats exactly what the HD-EP10 achieves".
