The new Borat DVD is selling out in Kazakhstan .
According to Amazon, residents of the central Asian country are rushing to order Sacha Baron-Cohen's comedy hit.
A spokesman said, "With the controversy the film caused around the world, it seems residents of Kazakhstan are now desperate to see what all the fuss is about, so much so that they are willing to pay the 505 Kazakhstani Tenge charge to have the DVD delivered from the UK."
The release of Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan was negatively received in Kazakhstan, and the Kazakh government was initially extremely bothered by the concept of the movie and the way it made fun of the nation.
However the Government has now accepted the humour in the movie .
Amazon also reported that the most ordered book in Kazakhstan is the best selleing book Leading at a Higher Level: Blanchard on How to Be a High Performing Leader by US business guru Ken Blanchard.
The Very Best of Sting and the Police is the best-selling album .
